Twins Take Two From AZ
The Minnesota Twins jumped out to an 11-run lead and never trailed en route to a 13-6 demolition of the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field yesterday. Minnesota ended up taking two of the three-games in the series in Phoenix. Byron Buxton was 3-for-4 with a home run, three R-B-I and three runs scored. Royce Lewis, Manuel Margot and Jose Miranda each drove in a pair of runs for the Twins. Starting pitcher David Festa earned his first career win in his first career big league start, despite allowing five runs through five frames. The Twins have won four of their last five and currently sit second in the A-L Central at 45-36. Minnesota will visit first-place Seattle tonight to start a three-game series.
