Lynx win over the Weekend

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx controlled the fourth quarter of their 74-67 win over the Washington Mystics at the Target Center on Saturday. The Lynx trailed by two entering the final frame before outscoring Washington 19-10. Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams each scored 17 points in the victory. The Lynx played without star player Napheesa Collier, who is suffering from a foot injury. Minnesota is in third place in the W-N-B-A at 15-6. The Lynx visit the Sparks tomorrow night in Los Angeles. In other team news, Minnesota center Alanna Smith has been named to the Team Australia Olympic roster.
