Twins Move Past White Sox
The Minnesota Twins outlasted the White Sox 8-6 in extra innings in the series opener Monday night in Chicago. Rookie slugger Brooks Lee singled in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning and Manny Margot added an insurance run for Minnesota.
Trevor Larnach , Matt Wallner, and Carlos Correa hit home runs for the Twins. Closer Jhoan Duran got the win and Kody Funderburk picked up his first save. Bailey Ober is scheduled to start the second game tonight (Tues 7pm) at Guaranteed Rate Field.
