Waconia Residents Asked to Check Security Cameras for Vehicle Tampering

Carver County authorities are asking residents in the southwest end of Waconia to check their security cameras for anything suspicious after they received a report of vehicle tampering.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies took the report that is believed to have occurred in the nighttime hours between Monday and Tuesday that caused felony level damage.

If you find something you think may help the investigation, you’re asked to call the non-emergency line (952-361-1231).

Deputies say they do not need video of vehicles you do not recognize… but if you see anyone causing damage to vehicles or other criminal activity, they would be happy to have a look.
