Motorcycle Driver Dies From Injuries Seven Days After Crash

A Cooperstown, North Dakota man seriously injured in a motorcycle crash has died from his injuries. 

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Ricky Howatt (63) was northbound on Highway 1 when he lost control of the 2000 Harley Davidson he was driving north of Pekin on July 20th. Howatt was thrown from the vehicle and died from his injuries a week later in a Grand Forks hospital. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident reported just after 4pm. 

Howatt was not wearing a helmet.
