Lakeville native signs to play basketball in Croatia

(Zadar, HR) — Former Lakeville North star Tyler Wahl, who played college basketball at Wisconsin, has signed a contract to play professional basketball for a team in Croatia. Wahl will suit up for K-K Zadar in the Adriatic Basketball Association. The formal announcement was made Wednesday. Wahl has signed a one-year contract with an option for a second year. He started at forward for the Badgers over the last five seasons, averaging double figures the last three. Wahl wasn’t drafted but got tryouts from the Timberwolves, Jazz, and Bucks. He also played for Minnesota in the Las Vegas N-B-A Summer League. He played in a pro-am league this summer in Minnesota, as well.
