Dolly Parton, Beyonce, Megan Moroney All Influencing “Cowgirl Summer”

 Spotify has officially declared 2024 as the “Year of the Cowgirl”.

Fans of the music app have created “Cowgirl” playlists en masse.    More than 220,000 user-generated new “cowgirl” playlists have already been created this year with the top songs that have been added:
“Jolene” by Dolly Parton
“Cowgirls” by Morgan Wallen
and “Tennessee Orange” by Megan Moroney.

In addition to superstars like Beyonce crossing over with her “Cowboy Carter” album earlier this year, there has been a boom in cowgirl attire being sold in 2024.  Hats, boots, and western wear have all seen a boost in online sales.
