Moorhead Man Pleads Guilty to Methamphetamine Distribution Conspiracy

A Moorhead man has pleaded guilty to his role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

According to United States Attorney Andrew M. Luger, 46 year old Jamie Richard White knowingly and willingly entered into an arrangement in which he would acquire more than 500 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at his residence in October.

Law enforcement found more than 400 grams of powder fentanyl laced with the veterinary tranquilizer xylazine. According to court documents, White continued to conspire to possess and distribute methamphetamine while his state charges were pending.

White pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Because he has multiple prior felonies, White is subject to a 15-year mandatory minimum prison term.
