Roundabout in New Ulm Set to Open to Traffic

Construction of the roundabout at the intersection of Highway 14 and Highland Avenue in New Ulm is wrapping up and MnDOT officials say the detour will be removed by late in the day today (Friday).

The project was delayed for about a month due to heavy rains early in the project.

It had originally been scheduled to open in early July.

Traffic has been detoured since May 20 for construction of the single-lane roundabout.

The project also included new sidewalk and trail to connect to existing locations and lighting.
