A Betty White Forever Stamp Is On The Way
The United States Postal Service made the big announcement that Betty White, known for roles on “The Golden Girls” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” will be honored with her own Forever Stamp in 2025. She died back in 2021, just weeks before her 100th birthday.
The stamp is a digital illustration created by Dale Stephanos of a 2010 photograph by Kwaku Alston. Greg Breeding, an art director for the Postal Service, designed the stamp.
There will be other stamps announced in the upcoming weeks but so far we know of a few in the works:
-Allen Toussaint on the Black Heritage series stamp
-Lunar New Year stamp
-baby wild animal collection
The release dates have not yet been revealed.
