ADAPTIVE RECREATIONAL SERVICES TO RECEIVE FUNDING FROM 100 WOMEN WHO CARE

100 Women Who Care held their fundraising event Sunday and chose Adaptive Recreational Services to receive a potential $10,000 in funding.  100 Women Who Care meet every six months to choose a non-profit to receive their donation.  After the non-profits are written on pieces of paper, three are chosen at random.  Each organization then has five minutes to describe their non-profit and what they would do with the donation.  ARS provides social, educational and recreational activities for teens and adults with disabilities.  Representatives of ARS say the organization needs the funding to continue operating in their current format.
