AG Ellison Condemns Racist Text Messages Sent to Black Voters
(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is condemning a series of racist text messages that some Black residents received following this week’s election.
He described the messages as disturbing and threatening, stating they have “no place in our society.”
Recipients reported that the messages informed them they had been assigned to pick cotton and would be transported to the nearest plantation.
Ellison encouraged anyone who received one of these messages to forward it to his office.
