Ant named All Star Game MVP
(Inglewood, CA/Minnesota News Network) — Anthony Edwards was named the Most Valuable Player as he led Team Stars past Team Stripes 47-21 to win the final of the N-B-A All-Star Game on Sunday night. Edwards his a game tying 3-pointer in the first round and followed that up with eight points in the final at the Clippers’ Intuit Dome. For Edwards, it’s his first All Star M-V-P award as the N-B-A tried a fourth All-Star format in four years. Ant and the Wolves return to action on Friday when they host the Dallas Mavericks at 6:30 P-M from Target Center. Minnesota went into the break with two straight wins and a 34-22 record. They sit in sixth place in the Western Conference.
