Ant named NBA Player of the Week
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) – Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is the Western Conference Player of the Week in the N-B-A. It’s the third time in his career that Edwards has won the honor. Edwards finished the week averaging 28.7 points per game while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor. The Wolves won all three games in the week. In other team news, the Timberwolves made a pair of roster moves official yesterday. As expected, Minnesota signed forward Kyle Anderson to a deal after he was cut by the Grizzlies. Anderson played for the Wolves from 2022-24 and averaged 7.8-points per game in those two seasons. The 32-year old Anderson has played in 68 career post-season games. Minnesota also inked guard Zyon Pullin to a two-way deal this week. He has appeared in 14 games for the G-League Iowa Wolves and averaged 23.8-points per game and was named G-League Player of the Month in November. He finished his college career at Florida in 2024 as a first-team all-SEC member.
