Anthony Edwards Makes Public Pitch to LeBron James

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is making a playful public pitch for LeBron James to come to Minnesota.

While looking at trading cards during Fanatics Fest in New York, Edwards was handed a LeBron card and responded, “Bron Bron, come to Minnesota. We got your card.”

Edwards had earlier acknowledged that Minnesota may not be among James’ preferred destinations, saying he had seen James’ reported top three teams and the Timberwolves were not included.

The comments add to the offseason speculation surrounding James, but there is no indication that an agreement with Minnesota is close—or that serious negotiations are underway.
