April 8th Special Election Results
In Tuesday’s Special Election for a seat on the Morris School Board, Miguel Calvo defeated Caleb Luthi with 81 percent of the 325 votes cast.
And in the Special Election for the Benson City Council seat that was opened when Chris Carruth resigned in November, Cherie Stielow with 118 votes defeated Derek Shemon with 104 votes. The results are considered unofficial until they are canvassed and certified. The Benson City Council will meet Friday to canvas the election.
