GLENCOE MAN KILLED IN MCLEOD COUNTY CRASH
An Glencoe man was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on Dairy Avenue on the Highway 212 detour in Helen Township. Authorities were called at 1 pm to the collision between a Chrysler 300 sedan and a Dodge Caravan. The Dodge was driven by 80-year-old Thomas Casey of Glencoe. He was taken to Glencoe Hospital where he died of his injuries. The Chrysler was driven by 46-year-old Nancy Codney of Gilbert, Arizona. She and her two passengers, 17-year-old Carley Codney and 15-year-old Connor Codney, both of Gilbert, were taken to Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Glencoe Police and Fire, the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office and Allina ambulance all assisted at the scene.
