Arlo K. Meyer, age 82 of Faribault, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at United Hospital, St. Paul

Memorial services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis at a later date.

Arlo Karl, the son of Herman and Dorothy (Haust) Meyer, was born May 23, 1943 in Northfield. He was raised on the family farm near Webster, MN and graduated from New Prague High School in 1961. He attended St. John’s Lutheran, Webster in his younger years. Arlo served in the US Army Reserves, retiring after 20 years of service. He married Colleen Wolf on February 11, 1989 in Northfield. Arlo was previously employed with Nelson’s Grocery, Faribault, Sheldahl, Northfield, Siewerts Towing, Cannon Falls, Cannon Falls Schools and Crown Cork and Seal, Faribault.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; sister, Nora (Charles) Rud of Webster; a son, Eric from a previous marriage; brother in law, Marlin “Pete” Petersen of Northfield; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Edith (Warren) Nelson, Ona (Gary) Sheets and Madalyn Petersen.
