Augustana officially added to D1’s CCHA

(St. Paul, MN) — The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced yesterday it will welcome Augustana into the league one year earlier than originally planned. The Vikings will enter conference play this coming season, but will still play a limited conference slate, which will complicate the point standings. There will be a formula to help determine which teams make the post-season tournament. A full-fledged conference schedule awaits Augustana for the 2025-26 season. The Vikings were 12-18-and-4 in their first season as a Division I hockey program last year, including a 7-7-and-1 mark against teams in the C-C-H-A.
