AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY IN MANKATO

Mankato authorities are investigating an armed robbery reported at 1:42 Saturday morning near Monks Avenue and Woodhaven Circle.  Authorities say three adult males were walking along Monks Avenue when a vehicle stopped and blocked their path on the sidewalk.  Four people wearing masks reportedly got out of the vehicle.  Two had handguns while demanding money.  The four suspects then got back in the vehicle before leaving.  Police say the suspects are described as three black males and one black female all within 16 to 20 years old.  Authorities are asking anyone in the area to provide any possible footage of the suspect vehicle, or any information to call 507-387-8725.  The investigation continues.
