AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATING FATAL STABBING IN WINDOM

Authorities in Windom are investigating after a fatal stabbing in Windom just before midnight Tuesday.  Windom Police say there were called to the Phat Pheasant Pub around 11:50 and found a 30-year-old and a 31-year-old Windom man had been stabbed.  The 30-year-old died of his injuries at Windom hospital.  Witnesses pointed police to a 26-year-old man from San Diego, California and he was arrested and is being held in the Cottonwood County Jail.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.  Windom Police were assisted by Mountain Lake Police, Cottonwood and Jackson County Sheriff’s Offices, the state patrol and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
