AWARDS HANDED OUT AT SENIOR DAY AT THE BROWN COUNTY FAIR

It’s Senior Day at the Brown County Fair in New Ulm and awards were handed out this (Thursday) morning.  The Century Farm award went to the Joel and Marti Schroepfer farm near Sleepy Eye which has been in continuous operation since 1884, who along with their brother Randy have  owned the farm since 1997.  (Joel is pictured above)  The Brown County Farm Family of the Year was recognized – Brandon and Jody Anderson Family of Comfrey.  And the Outstanding Senior Citizen this year is 103-year-old Paul Wojahn, a proud veteran and still thriving at 103!
