Bell Powers Twins Past Braves, 4-1

The Twins beat Atlanta 4-to-1 Tuesday night for their second straight victory over the Braves.

Josh Bell opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning—his 17th of the season. The blast extended Bell’s on-base streak to 21 games.

Ryan Jeffers added a two-run double in the eighth, and Minnesota’s bullpen protected the lead for the second consecutive night.

The Twins will go for the three-game sweep today at Target Field.
