Bemidji Man Faces Assault Charge After Apartment Shooting

A 21-year-old Bemidji man is facing an assault charge following a shooting at an apartment complex Sunday night.

Police say a 27-year-old man was shot in the shoulder near the 2400 block of Ridgeway Avenue North. Officers reportedly recovered three shell casings from the parking lot.

The victim was taken to Sanford Health for treatment. Police arrested Terrance Jones in connection with the shooting, which remains under investigation.
