Betty Wolf

Betty Wolf, age 83, of Belle Plaine passed away on March 2, 2026. Mass of Christian burial will
be 10:30AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Michael Kaluza will officiate. Visitation will be on
Friday from 4-7pm at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to
the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Born February 25, 1943, in Shakopee MN to Alphonse and Marie (Sand) Stocker. She graduated
from Jordan High School in 1961. Betty married Larry Wolf on June 23 rd , 1962, at St. Joe
Catholic Church, rural Jordan MN. Betty was a homemaker and devoted to raising her four
children. Betty had a very large garden every summer and come fall the cellar and freezer were
filled with all her canned goods. Betty then worked for Nordic Track for 10 years, Excelsior
Henderson and other manufacturing jobs until she retired in 2003. Betty enjoyed traveling with
her husband in their motorhome, camping and spending time with family. Her greatest joy in
retirement was spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren teaching them how to
play Kings in the Corner, Phase 10, Skip-Bo, Uno and many other card games. Betty will always
be remembered for her cornflake bars in the refrigerator that never ran out and her endless pot of
coffee.
Betty is survived by her children: Kenny (Terri) Wolf, Ricky (Laurie) Wolf, Eileen (Bob) Vasko
and Doreen Wolf; grandchildren: Derik Wolf, Betsy (James) Rutt, Patrick Wolf, Joshua
(Dominica) Wolf, David Wolf, Rachel Wolf, Alicia (Lincoln) Luckhardt, Christina Richardson,
Andy (Special friend Alishia) Edblom, Ryan (Erin) Edblom Jeni (Jaime) Paumen, Kristi (Dylan)
Scherping, Nicholas (Tailyr) Klug, Kourtney Klug, Kirstyn (Robert) Benavente; 24 great-
grandchildren; siblings: Donald Stocker, Marion (Larry) Entinger, Alan (Lou) Stocker; sister-in-
law: Jane Wolf and many nieces and nephews.
Betty is proceeded in death by her husband: Larry Wolf; parents: Alphonse and Marie Stocker;
granddaughter: Jennifer (Wolf) Compton, grandson: Matthew Edblom; great grandson: Broc
Weishert; mother and father in law: Raymond and Hildegard Wolf; brother and sister in laws:
Sandra Stocker, Alvin, Margie & Dorothy Wolf, Don and Jean Wolf, Florence, Irene & Estelle
Wolf, Evelyn and Francis Prochaska, Marlene and Jerry Solheid, Delora and Gerald Meuleners,
Ermin Wolf, Harriet and Francis Colling, Elroy and Carol Wolf

The family of Betty Wolf would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and kindness
in this time of sorrow. Our wish is that you take the love, joy and happiness you received from
Betty and spread it to those who touch your life.
