Bidding Opens Friday for Minnesota DNR Confiscated-Gear Auction

Online bidding opens Friday for the Minnesota D-N-R’s first confiscated-equipment auction of the year.

The auction includes firearms, bows and other hunting, fishing and trapping equipment seized following serious game and fish violations.

The complete catalog, including descriptions and photographs, will be posted Thursday at Hiller Auction dot com. Bidding opens at 8 A-M Friday and begins closing at 5 P-M Monday.

Buyers can inspect the equipment Friday from 9 A-M until 2 P-M at Hiller Auction Service in Zimmerman.

Everything is sold as-is and must be picked up at the auction site. Firearm buyers must complete an in-person federal background check before receiving their purchases.

Proceeds support Minnesota’s Game and Fish Fund. A second auction is scheduled for September 28th. (Minnesota DNR)
