Big night for KAT against his former team
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t slow down their former big-man during a 133-107 loss to the New York Knicks at the Target Center. Karl-Anthony Towns went off for 32 points and 20 rebounds in his first game back in Minnesota since the team traded him in September. Minnesota was outscored 41-18 in a decisive second quarter and trailed by as many as 36 points at one point of the second half. Wolves forward Julius Randle had 24 points in the losing effort against his former squad. Anthony Edwards added 17 points. New York is now second in the Atlantic Division at 17-10. The 14-12 Wolves host Golden State tomorrow night.
