Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office takes into custody an individual with warrants

On Tuesday, September 10th the Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office received information that an individual with numerous warrants was in Beardsley, MN. The suspect Nathan Todd Holland, age 39, of Waldorf, MN. Law enforcement confirmed that Holland had numerous felony warrants – in Waseca, Rice, Dakota, and Olmsted County. Law enforcement was provided information that Holland had previously fled from law enforcement, and he may have a firearm.

Law enforcement determined that Holland was concealing himself in an RV in Beardsley. A perimeter was established around the property. Attempts at establishing communication with Holland via phone calls were unsuccessful. The Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for the RV.

At approximately 6:47 p.m. Holland was taken into custody without incident. Holland was transported to the Traverse County Jail, where he is held on several felony warrants. There are currently no local charges.
The Big Stone County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Traverse County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
