Blue Jays Upset New Ulm Brewers

A bases loaded walk in the top of the ninth scored Nick Stadick  to give Essig a 9-8 lead over the New Ulm Brewers in the top of the ninth.  In the bottom of the ninth, Essig’s Zach Riederer struck out Andrew Peters with the bases loaded to end the game and complete the upset.   Brewers suffer their first loss in Tomahawk East Play 9-8.  Brewers are back in action tonight hosting the Courtland Cubs 7:30pm on Military Appreciation Day.  Other scores in Tomahawk East action Wednesday night:  Hanska-4  Stark-1,  Searles -14 Sleepy Eye- 10, in 8 innings Leavenworth-10 Gibbon-0.
