Body Recovered from Carver County Lake Identified

A 36-year-old from Eden Prairie is being identified as the man that possibly drowned at Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen after entering the water from a kayak without a life jacket.

Authorities identified him as 36-year-old Earnest Corderia Claiborn of Eden Prairie.

Carver County Sheriff Jason Kamerud said deputies responded to multiple 911 calls around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, after witnesses saw a man go underwater and not resurface. His body was recovered later that night.
