BOX CULVERT PROJECT NEAR WINTHROP ALMOST DONE

Replacement of the Highway 19 box culvert near Winthrop is nearly complete and the detour is expected to be removed Wednesday.  MnDOT replaced the box culvert under the highway to improve drainage and enhance safety.  Highway 19 in Winthrop has been closed since early August.  Landwehr Construction was awarded the project with a bid of over $2-million.
