Boy’s and Girl’s State Golf Tournaments Are Underway

The 2026 Minnesota High School Boy’s and Girl’s Golf State Tournaments got underway yesterday at various courses throughout the state. The Class 3-A boy’s and girl’s field is taking place at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids. Brainerd holds the lead after the first round in the boy’s tourney, while defending champ Minnetonka has the girl’s lead. The 2-A competition is at Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan. The Southwest Christian boy’s team has the lead after yesterday’s opening round. Defending champion Detroit Lakes leads the girl’s field. The Class 1-A field is playing at Pebble Creek in Becker. Central Minnesota Christian holds the day one lead in the boy’s field, while defending champ Dawson-Boyd leads the girl’s tourney. The final round is slated for today at all locations.
