Brewers, Cubs Eliminated for Tournament

New Ulm was knocked out of the State Amateur tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Brewers gave up 4 runs in the ninth to fall to the Buckman Billygoats 6 to 4.

Courtland stayed alive until Sunday, after a 4 to 0 win over Red Wing. jackson Bode had the complete game win. The Cubs were knocked out of the tournament on Sunday afternoon, losing a slugfest to Buffalo 13 to 8.

Champions were crowned on Sunday and Monday.

The Class B champ is Miesville, a 12 to 1, 7 inning win over Air Freight Unlimited.

The Class C champ is Waconia, a 5 to 2 winner over Jordan.
