BROWN COUNTY BURNING BAN

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has issued a burning ban for all of the county today (Tuesday) until further notice.  The National Weather Service has also issued a Red Flag Warning for central and southern Minnesota which also includes Brown County.  Strong winds, low humidity and dry conditions will lead to critical fire conditions.  No open burning of CRP land and/or ditches or brush piles is permitted.  If you have questions, call the Brown County Sheriff’s office at 233-6700.
