Bruce Arlin Anderson

Bruce A. Anderson, age 73 of Appleton, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Appleton Hospital.

Visitation for Bruce A. Anderson will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton, MN.

Celebration of life for Bruce Arlin Anderson will be at 11:00 a.m. Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton, MN.

Bruce Arlin Anderson was born on December 4, 1950, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was the son of Arlin Clifford and Doris Lorraine (Banik) Anderson. He grew up in Milan and graduated from Milan High School with the class of 1969.  After high school Bruce attended the Police Academy. He served in the National Guard. On September 22, 2001, Bruce was united in marriage to Ardell Paula Lakotas.

Bruce served the Redwood Falls, Minnesota community, as a Police Officer and for his unwavering dedication, compassionate nature, and commitment to community, his service will always be remembered. He was a proud father to his four children, Ross, Ryan, Nicole, and Mitchell. He shared his passion for hunting and fishing with his family. Bruce loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.

Bruce is survived by his wife Ardell of Appleton, MN; his children: Ross (Kaitlynn) Anderson of Appleton, MN, Ryan (Sara) Anderson of Appleton, MN, and Nicole (Loren) Smith of Little Falls, MN; six grandchildren: Tyler, Cade, Rhett, Laurel, Olive, and Sawyer; his sister: Kathy Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; and several other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Arlin and Doris Anderson; and his son: Mitchell.
