BUDGET AND ECONOMIC FORECAST COMES OUT FRIDAY

The next budget outlook for Minnesota will come out Friday.  The last budget forecast came out in November  and showed a $2.5-billion surplus for 2026 – 2027 but a $3-billion deficit for 2028 – 2029.   Friday’s forecast will give us a better view of the financial strain due to federal cuts.
