Byron Buxton Returns From Injured List

Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton returned from the injured list for Thursday night’s Field of Dreams game in Iowa.

The Twins activated Buxton as their 27th player for the special event against Philadelphia. He started in center field and batted third in Minnesota’s 7-to-1 loss.

Buxton had been sidelined since July 29th with a right hip impingement—his second injured-list stint involving the hip this season.

The 32-year-old is batting .263 with 25 home runs and 45 runs batted in.
