Caleb Kyle Herrick

Caleb Kyle Herrick, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2024, in Mankato, MN at the age of 22. Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service at the Belle Plaine Vets Club.

Caleb was born on April 11, 2001, to Sarah Herrick and Corey Pudwill in Burnsville, MN. He grew up in Belle Plaine, MN and graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 2019. He was a student at South Central College studying mechatronics engineering. He was employed by Wis- Pak in their maintenance dept. Caleb will be remembered for his love of cats, corgis, cooking, family, friends, and his little red Miata. He brought love, kindness, laughter, and joy to all who were blessed to have him in their lives.

Caleb is survived and deeply missed by his parents, Sarah Herrick and Corey Pudwill (Belle Plaine, MN), his brothers, Nathan Herrick (Burnsville, MN), Dylan, Benjamin, and Samuel Pudwill (Mankato, MN). His special friend, Amanda Seykora (Mankato, MN). His Grandfather Jack Herrick (Burnsville, MN) and Grandparents Steve and Mary Jo Meyer (Le Sueur, MN). Uncles David Herrick (Dennis) (Golden Valley, MN), Shane (Lexi) Meyer (Le Sueur, MN), and Aunt Jennifer (Ron) Hesse (Long Prairie, MN), and several cousins. He is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Joan Herrick, his aunt Kelly Meyer Paul, and his uncle Kyle Meyer. In remembrance of Caleb’s life and love, the family asks that donations be made in his name to your local animal rescue.
