CANBY MAN, TWO KIDS HURT IN REDWOOD COUNTY CRASH

The state patrol was called to a crash on Highway 14 at Garden Avenue in North Hero Township Redwood County Friday night around 10:48 pm.  Authorities say 41-year-old Nolan Nelson of Canby was driving a Ford F150 west on Highway 14, lost control on the snow and ice covered highway, went into the ditch and rolled.  Nelson and passengers 12-year-old Bailey Nelson and 10-year-old Avery Nelson were all taken to Tracy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  All wore seatbelts.  Authorities say alcohol was involved.  The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Lamberton Fire and ambulance and Walnut Grove ambulance all assisted at the scene.
