CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD CLOSES TUESDAY AT 4 PM

Candidates who want to enter local municipal or school board elections have until 4 pm Tuesday to file.  Three incumbents have filed for re-election on the New Ulm School Board.  In Sleepy Eye, no candidates have filed for three open positions and one person has filed for Mayor.  Two council seats and the mayor’s office are up for election in Lafayette.  Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm Tuesday for Primary Election Day.
