Two Drivers Injured in Meeker County Crash

Two drivers were injured in a crash in Meeker County Tuesday northeast of Litchfield. The State Patrol says 54-year-old Jay Schoenecker of Watkins was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Target Layoffs Begin

A major shakeup is underway at Minnesota-based Target as the retailer started laying off 1,000 corporate employees and eliminating 800 open positions. Employees were instructed to work remotely this week and many received their layoff notices via email and virtual meetings Tuesday. The restructuring comes amid declining sales and profits.
