Two Die In Crash Near Glenwood

Two drivers died in a two-vehicle head-on crash near Glenwood Saturday evening. The State Patrol says 39-year-old Nicholas Bergman of Oakdale and 33-year-old Isaac Carlson of Glenwood died at the scene. The Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 28 near Pope County Road 57 in Leven Township just after 7:30pm.

Renville County Road 6 Closing for Road Improvements

(Olivia) Beginning today (May 23), Renville County Road 6 from 850th Avenue to approximately one-half (½) mile into Kandiyohi County will be closed for road improvements and motorists are advised to follow the marked detour. County officials say the project is expected to be complete by July 31.

Head-on Crash in Carver County

Traffic was detoured on Highway 212 late last night (Wednesday) east of Norwood-Young America after a head-on crash involving an impaired driver. The Carver County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened between Tacoma Avenue and County Road 51 and the scene was cleared just before midnight. Additional details have not been released.
