More Information Released on Granite Falls Plane Crash

More information has been released on the jet plane crash near the Granite Falls Airport Monday that left one occupant dead and another injured. The Yellow Medicine Sheriff’s Office says 46-year-old David Dacus of San Francisco, California was pronounced dead at the scene. Air Quality Alert Impacts Burning Permits

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has issued an air quality alert for northwest Minnesota from Wednesday, July 23 at 6:00 a.m. through Friday, July 25, at 11:00 p.m. To reduce additional air pollutants, burning permits will not be issued or activated.
