NEW ULM HOMECOMING ROYALTY CROWNED

NORTH MANKATO HOUSE FIRE NOW FATAL

One of the people hospitalized after a house fire in North Mankato Friday has died.  Authorities say 12-year-old Autumn R. Paulson died of her injuries.  Her mother, 41-year-old, Stefanie Scharbach was treated for smoke inhalation and released.  The fire at 524 Lyndale Avenue is still being investigated but officials believe it was accidental.   The owner […]

LAMBERTON MAN HURT AFTER HITTING FARM EQUIPMENT

A Lamberton man was hospitalized after rear-ending a parked pickup that was hauling farm equipment Friday.  Redwood County deputies say 29-year-old Byamba Erdene crashed on County State Aid Highway 6 and escaped his SUV before it caught fire.  He was treated for minor injuries.  The pickup was not occupied.  Officials say the accident caused significant […]

Food Shelf Continues to be Busy

New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf is open Monday and Wednesday from noon to 2:45pm  and the First Monday of the month 6:30pm-7:45pm.    Business has been steady.  The last Produce Tuesday for the year will be on October 14.   Signup begins at 10:00am with distribution 10:15am to 12:15pm.
