USDA WEEKLY CROP UPDATE

Excessive soil moisture continues to slow fieldwork in Minnesota. USDA’s latest weekly crop report shows there were just three days suitable for planting, cutting hay and spraying statewide. ST. JAMES MAN SENTENCED IN APRIL STABBING

A St. James man has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of a stabbing in April. 23-year-old Antonio Trevino was convicted on a felony second-degree assault causing substantial bodily harm charge in Watonwan County District Court.
