HALF DOZEN TORNADOES REPORTED IN SOUTHERN MINNESOTA

The National Weather Service is looking into at least a half dozen tornado reports in southern and southeastern Minnesota.  Meteorologist Tyler Hasenstein says rotation was first spotted Wednesday near Alden and Hartland in Freeborn County.  He says they were receiving tornado reports for about an hour from weather spotters and storm chasers.    There  were […]

Wolves Draft Frenchman

The Minnesota Timberwolves selected Joan Beringer (YO-ahn bee-ron-jzee) in the first round of the N-B-A Draft at Barclays Center. The 18-year-old was taken with the 17th overall pick.
