FEDERAL JUDGE ORDERS RELEASE OF MSU-MANKATO STUDENT DETAINED BY ICE

A federal judge is ordering the release of an international MSU-Mankato student who was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  Mohammed Hoque from Bangladesh has been jailed since March 28.  U.S District Judge Jerry Blackwell says Hoque should be released because he was targeted for his social media posts.  Hoque filed a lawsuit claiming […]

NEW ULM MAN NOT HURT IN FAIRFAX CRASH

The state patrol has released some more information on the crash south of Jordan on Highway 169.  Authorities say a Ford F-150 was traveling the wrong way in the southbound lanes of 169 and crashed into the concrete median barrier and burst into flames.  The driver was killed.  The man’s name has not been released.  […]
