  New Ulm’s Flower Watering Volunteers were recognized recently by the city.  Mayor Kathleen Backer thanked them for all they do.   Backer was on KNUJ Thursday morning and also discussed the “one size fits all”  state zoning proposal and mentioned most of the city commissions are now filled.

A first-time National Champion has been crowned. The Hoosiers took down the Hurricanes 27-21 in the College Football Playoff title game from Miami.
