Catherine M. Denzer

Catherine M. Denzer, age 96 of Big Lake, MN, formerly of Le Sueur, passed away peacefully on
September 14, 2026. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 at St. Anne’s
Catholic Church in Le Sueur, MN at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the
church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Luncheon to follow the burial.
Catherine was born on February 10, 1930 at the family farmstead in St. Thomas, MN to Joseph
and Mary (Gostomczik) Miska.

She married LeRoy Denzer on October 22, 1949 in Lexington, MN. Together they had 5
children.
Catherine spent much of her life raising her children and taking care of the family home. Once
their children were older, she returned to work at the restaurant her and LeRoy owned. Following
it’s closing, she worked at Bimeda in Le Sueur in the packaging department until her retirement.
