Charges in Kandiyohi Co Stolen Vehicle Crash

A suspect is now charged with stealing a vehicle in Willmar in which he later crashed Tuesday night.

Twenty-one-year-old Jester Walter of Willmar is charged with one felony count of Motor Vehicle Theft-Without the Owners Consent and one misdemeanor count of DWI.

According to the complaint, the sheriff’s office responded to the reported theft of a vehicle from a residence in Willmar just after 9pm which was later identified in a rollover crash near the area of County Road 5 and 105th Avenue SW, south of Willmar.

Walter was still at the scene and was arrested.
